About Us
The Utilities and Public Works Department includes water, wastewater, and city streets. The Water Department operates approximately 24 miles of water mains drawing water from two groundwater wells. There are three water storage tanks with a combined storage amount of 275,000 gallons.
The Wastewater Department operates a lagoon style treatment facility as well as seven lift stations.
The Street Department consists of two mowing crews and mows and maintains approximately 37 miles of road right of ways within the town limits. Sanitation services for residents living inside town limits is included on your utility bill.
The office for these is located in the Flomaton Municipal Complex with office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
